Thomas B. Edwards, MD

Dr. Edwards is a former Chief of Allergy at Albany Medical College and currently a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine in the AMC Allergy and Immunology Fellowship Training Program. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and also of the American College of Physicians. He is board certified, and twice re-certified, in Allergy and Clinical Immunology. Dr. Edwards is a longstanding resident of Westborough, MA and has over twenty-six years of experience providing allergy and asthma care to patients of all ages. He has a working fluency in Spanish.

Kara Thompson MPH, CPNP-PC.

Kara is a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and public health professional. She earned a Master's of Science in Nursing degree from Boston College School of Nursing, where she trained in primary care pediatrics. She has transitioned to the sub-specialty of pediatric allergy and asthma under the mentoring of Dr. Edwards. Prior to entering the field of nursing, Kara earned a Master of Public Health degree from Boston University School of Public Health, with a duel concentration in global health and epidemiology. She brings several years of experience in health policy, academic research and education into her clinical care.

Richa Sood F.N.P.

Richa is a Family Nurse Practitioner, board certified by AANP and currently licensed to practice in state of Massachusetts. Richa began her career in nursing in 2007 and has been a FNP since 2015. She obtained her nursing degree from Merced College, California and completed her Master of Science with sub-speciality in Family Nurse Practitioner from Walden University. She is qualified to diagnose and treat a wide array of conditions across the entire lifespan. Under Dr Edwards she has transitioned to asthma and allergy and practices in the Worcester office. Richa loves spending time outdoors with her family and enjoys listening to music.
